The Tignes's ski resort is offering you the possibility to ski in winter an in summer :

In winter, the formed by the joining of Tignes and Val d'Isère's immense ski areas, the Espace Killy is one of the most beautiful ski areas in the word.

The following figures speak for themselves! The Espace Killy is...97 ski lifts, 2 funiculars, 4 cabin lifts, 4 cable cars, 45 chairlikts, 41 drag lifts - 10000 hectares and 300 kilometres of ski trails - 137 ski runs : 22 green, 64 blue, 35 red, 16 black - 9 slalom stadiums and 2 mogul stadiums - 2 half-pipes and 2 snow parks - 331 snow canons.

The Tignes ski area is more or less equivalent in size to the Val D'Isère's one. Tignes offers 47 ski lifts : 1 funicular, 1 cable car, 24 chairlifts, 19 drag lifts - 5000 hectares and 150 kilometres of ski runs - 67 ski trails : 1 green, 40 blue, 16 red, 10 black - a maximum verticla distance of 1900 metres from the Grande Motte (3450 metres) to Les Brevières (1550 metres).

In summer, 20 km of ski trails are availables (Grande Motte glacier) for a vertical distance of 750 metres.

How to get on the Ski trails from the flat

Make on step outside the flat's building, and you can put the ski down on your foot. You'll have an easy access to a place (ski school meeting place - visible form the balcony) from which you'll have 3 choices :

Take a free ski lift to go higher an then easily ski down toward the others ski lifts of Val Claret. It's an easy ski trail even for beginners.
Take ski lift taking you toward the ski area of Val d'Isère (by Tovière 2 700 M high.)
Take the snow tunnel leading you down at the Grande Motte's funicular.

You don't have to walk to get at the ski lifts, you put your skis on your foot just oustisd the flat's building and you can ski back un to the doors of the building.
